Layout of the villa

Arrival

A short flight of steps from Villa Yazlik’s double carport leads down to the pool terrace and front door.

Main terrace

The villa’s main pool terrace is one of the largest in Kalkan and is tiled in travertine. It also has one of the best views, with unobstructed, panoramic, views of Kalkan and Kalamar bays and beautiful mouse and snake islands.

Here you’ll find the 11.5m x 4 m infinity pool (1.5m deep), a large jacuzzi, 10 sun loungers, tables and umbrellas, a marble bar with bar stools and fridge, traditional Turkish kosk lounging area, BBQ, and an expansive marble dining table with comfortable padded chairs under a pergola.

A short path leads to the front door and beyond that, a table-football table and a small garden with steps down to the ground floor.

Living area

A cherry-wood front door opens onto the villa’s huge open-plan living area, situated on the middle floor of the villa. The main lounge area, with satellite TV and video, is furnished with sofas and armchairs, while the second lounge area has a half moon sofa, music centre, a telephone for making local calls, a feature fireplace and patio doors leading onto a furnished veranda.

Also on this floor is the open-plan kitchen/dining area with black granite dining table and white padded chairs, and a fully equipped kitchen complete with microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee machine, blender and electric juicer. Patio doors lead out to another furnished veranda and the main terrace.

A guest bathroom with wet-room shower, laundry room with washing machine, iron and ironing board, and a coat cupboard are further features.

First floor

A wide, spiral travertine staircase leads to the master bedroom with super king size bed and a further twin bedroom. Both bedrooms have walk in dressing areas, marble ensuite bathrooms with wet room showers, and patio doors leading out to a furnished roof terrace, while the master bedroom also features a round jacuzzi bath.

For the more energetic, there is a fitness bike/walker with views of the sea while you’re exercising.

First floor roof terrace

This sizeable terrace has two sun loungers and a seating area with two sofas and a marble coffee table under a shady pergola. The terrace can be accessed from both bedrooms as well as a separate glass door on the landing.

Lower floor

A wide, spiral travertine staircase leads from the living area to the lower floor where there are three further bedrooms; two doubles and a twin. Again, each room has an ensuite marble bathroom with wet room shower, a separate dressing room, and patio doors onto the lower terrace. The twin room, located between the two doubles, has the largest bathroom in the villa and also boasts a jazuzzi bath.

Lower terrace

The main feature of this terrace is the waterfall from the infinity pool above that feeds into the children’s pool 11.5m x 3.5m (and 0.5m deep). Here you’ll also find two sun loungers, a seating area and a full size table tennis table.

Sauna and steam room

Down a short flight of stairs from the lower terrace finds a further garden together with a sauna, steam room and outdoor shower. It takes just 15-20 mins for these rooms to warm up and provide the full spa experience.

Additionally…

The living area and bedrooms all have air-con and statement walls of glass overlooking the bay, and all rooms have cooling travertine floors.
